How to Stop Android Insufficient Storage Space While Installing/Updating App

How does it feels whenever you want to install or update a new application and your device prompts you insufficient Storage Space?  Gauche Right, Today I'm going to shed light on why and how to successfully bypass insufficient storage space.

Some android device has expandable space to slot in external memory cards while some basically works on in-built space only, in the former case there are possible chances of moving entire apps both pre-installed (in-built) apps and custom apps while latter can possibly clear all cache (junk files) stored by apps.

How to Stop Insufficient Storage Space

I will show you two methods on how to stop insufficient storage, the first guide requires no-rooting while the second guide requires rooting.

How To Stop Insufficient Storage Space without Rooting

💥 Open the Settings app, tap Apps, in some device it’s Applications, or Applications Manager option.

💥 Scroll sideways to the ALL section. You'll see a list of all apps and how much storage space they're taking.

💥Tap the Menu or More button and choose Sort By Size to arrange the apps by which take the most space.

💥 Tap an app to see how much storage space it is taking, both for the app and its data (the Storage section) and for its cache (the Cache section).

💥 Tap Clear Cache to remove its cache and free up that space. You could also tap Clear data, but that removes your files, which is most likely a bad idea.

Repeat this step above for each app to free more space.

In some devices, there's a faster way to clear all the apps' cache automatically:

💥 Open the Settings app, tap Storage (it should be in the System tab or section). You'll see how much storage is used, with details for cached data broken out.

💥 Tap Cached Data. In the confirmation form that appears, tap Delete to free up that cache for working space, or tap Cancel to leave the cache alone.

How To Stop Insufficient Storage Space on Rooted device

Requirements:
  • Rooting
  • Lucky Patcher
Note: This step requires rooting, if you don’t understand Rooting check What is Rooting, incase you want to root your Android device there are many apps that can do that, but the most guaranteed is KINGROOT while rooting with kingroot you will need to turn-on mobile data to carry out the rooting process successfully and within some minutes your android device will be successfully rooted.

Download latest Kingroot v4.9

That said, now after rooting you will need to download lucky Patcher, with this app you can move both in-built apps and custom app to external memory.

Download latest lucky Patcher v6.2

Follow this guide to free internal storage space

💥 Install and open lucky Patcher > Navigate on any app you want to move to SD card > Tap it > Click “Move to /sdcard” >  Click “yes”

💥 wait for some moment “depend on the size of the app” > then a success message will pop up

Repeat this step for each app to free more space.

How to Reduce Video Size without Losing the Visual Quality by zennitwap

Recently I made a video to upload on YouTube and the size of video was too large because I recorded it in HD format and large video files are slow to upload and download, so I was looking for an easy to do away software to handle the compression then I was lucky to come across this wonderful software HANDBRAKE. Today I want to share the complete tutorial on how compress/shrink any video format without losing the visual quality.

Handbrake is software that compresses or shrinks video from any format, e.g. Mp4, Audio Video Interleave File ( avi ), Windows Media Video File (wmv), etc. Amazing points about handbrake:- It is free from Source (No Premium Version Upgrade), User friendly navigations (Easy to use) and It works perfectly on Windows, Mac and Linux.

How to Reduce Video Size Using HandBrake.exe

This tutorial demonstrates how to compress a video file for the web on a Windows 64bit. The sample file I used to compress was called Damtops_Tutorial.mp4 and its original size was 84.7 MB.  After compression the file size was down to 10.3 MB. The compressed video format is MP4 as it is the most supported video format on the web. With the following instructions in this tutorial, the size of any video format will be reduced drastically without losing quality.

Download and install Handbrake from this link https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php

Double click the downloaded file to install Handbrake by following the instructions on screen.

Open Handbrake. Do not be confuse by all the buttons and options available you only need to use a few of them.
OR CLICK ON THE PICTURE BELOW TO DOWNLOAD
Click Source at the left right corner > Open File to select the video you want to compress.  In this tutorial, I select Damtops_Tutorial.mp4 and then click Open. You can see the original size was 84.7 MB.

You can decide where the compressed file will be saved by clicking Browse under Destination.  By default, it is saved in the same folder where the original file is. You can change to other location if necessary. You are required to provide a name for the compressed file.

For Output Settings, choose Mp4 if it is not selected and select Web Optimized. Click on Video and make sure that H.264(X264) is selected.

Click Start to compress the video. The Green Start button will become Red Stop button until the compression is complete. When it is back to Green. You are ready to view the compressed video.

The original video file was reduced from 84.7 MB to 10.3 MB. The compressing process for this small file took around 40 seconds.  If it is a very large file, it can take much longer to compress.
I played both video with windows media player to compare the visual, screenshot below the original is at the top while the compressed is down.

This tutorial aims to introduce the basic features in Handbrake. Handbrake has many more features which allow you to change the level of compression (e.g. setting average bit rate (kbps).  In addition, you can easily optimize a video for different devices including iPod, TV or Android tablet.  If you would like to  learn more about videos and advanced features in Handbrake, here is a complete Handbrake guide: https://trac.handbrake.fr/wiki/HandBrakeGuide

Checkout All Network Night Data Plans And How To Subscribe

The current trend between network providers is night plan subscription, presently night plans are the cheapest subscription plan available and a lot of internet users have began to gain more interest in these plans. MTN, AIRTEL, GLO night subscription plans had been around for a while just recently Etisalat joined the trend. But these subscription rates differs a lot, the choice now depends on the best browsing network for your area. This post is basically to show you how to subscribe for night data Plans for all networks.

👉 How to Subscribe For MTN Night Plan ðŸ‘ˆ

Firstly I will start with MTN; MTN night plan is capped at 500MB for N25 and the subscription is valid between 12:00 am – 4:00 am, but according to my test I discovered it stops at 3:30 am.

💥 To subscribe your MTN SIM must be on MTN Pulse tariff plan, but if you are not sure of the plan you are already on, simply dial *556# and read the first letter before main balance to confirm which plan you are on or dial *406*1# to migrate to MTN Pulse tariff plan.

💥 Make sure you have up to N25 in your airtime balance

💥 Go to your message send NIGHT to 131 and MTN will reply a message like this “Dear customer, you have successfully subscribed to Free Night Browsing between 00:00 and 04:00. N25 has been deducted from your account.”

Note: Every SIM card is eligible for one time subscription per night, so if you have more than one MTN SIM cards maybe 3 that will be 3GB for N75 that’s cool right?

👉 How to Subscribe For GLO Night Plan ðŸ‘ˆ

Much emphasis will not be made on GLO; GLO night plan is capped at 1GB for N200 and the subscription is valid between 12:00 am – 5:00 am, on like MTN, you don’t need to migrate to any plan before you can subscribe for GLO night plan.

💥 Make sure you have up to N200 in your airtime account

💥 Go to message send 60 to 127 or dial *127*60#
👉 How to Subscribe For ETISALAT Night Plan ðŸ‘ˆ

This is the latest of all, Etisalat just joined the trend of night plan subscription, but didn’t come as expected so much emphasis will not be made, Etisalat night plan is capped at 1GB for N200 and the subscription is also valid between 12:00 am – 5:00 am, to subscribe the new Etisalat night plan,

💥 Make sure you have up to N200 in your airtime account balance

💥 Dial *229*3*11# to subscribe for the plan.

👉 How to Subscribe For AIRTEL Night Plan ðŸ‘ˆ

The AIRTEL night plan subscription is in two phases and one thing good about AIRTEL night plan is that you can renew as you want within a night on like MTN.  AIRTEL night plan is capped at 500MB for N25, 1.5GB for N50 both are renewable and the subscription is valid between 12:00 am – 5:00 am.

💥 To subscribe, your AIRTEL SIM must be on SmartTrybe tariff plan, so to migrate to AIRTEL SmartTrybe dial *312# and reply with 1 to migrate SmartTrybe if you are not on the plan already.

💥 Dial *312#, Reply with 3 for N500MB which cost N25 or Reply with 4 for 1.5GB which cost N50

Note: All these night plans data works for all devices namely: Android Smartphones, iPhone/iPad, Laptops (modem), BB10, Windows phone, Symbian/Java phones you can also turn on Hotspot for other devices.

Like I said earlier, the network in your area will determine the best network plan for you, without much ado AIRTEL NIGTH PLAN is still the best when it comes to price, you can use the comment box below to share your view about these night plans.

Also don’t forget to share this post you can do that by clicking the social media icon strut on your screen.

Checkout How To Borrow Browsing Data From MTN (Xtrabyte) by zennitwap

We all know last time MTN introduced Xtratime service whereby customers are allowed to borrow some certain amount of airtime that you pay back as soon as you recharge; this time MTN has introduced a similar service Xtrabyte.

Xtrabytes is a service rendered by MTN for customers to borrow some certain amount of data (Megabytes) and refund as soon as next airtime recharged is made.

How to borrow data from MTN Xtrabyte
The same way Xtratime is borrowed, dial *606#

Sometimes the Xtrabyte maybe 2 or 3 like my screenshot below my Xtrabyte is 2, if yours is 3 then reply with 3.

Then a pop up message will show you the amount of data your SIM is eligible to borrow and the amount for the service will be displayed also.

How do you see this new idea from MTN and the price tag for this service?

Computing 5G Wireless Is Coming, and It’s Going to Blow You Away

Mobile data consumption is soaring, but a broad set of technology advances is poised to transform what today’s smartphones and other wireless mobile devices can do—ushering in high-resolution video and fully immersive, 3-D environments. At the NYU Wireless lab in Brooklyn, students are testing prototype equipment—forerunners to next-generation phones—that are able to transmit a blazing 10 gigabits of data per second, all while moving around crowded courtyards. And Samsung recently showed how a car traveling at 25 kilometers per hour could maintain a gigabit-per-second connection as the car moved in and out of range of mobile transmitters called base stations. Both achievements are roughly 100 times faster than what current commercial mobile phone technology can do. These are demonstrations of the kinds of astonishing capabilities that will be unleashed thanks to this month’s release of vast amounts of high-frequency spectrum by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission—a move that will make available several times more spectrum than has ever existed for wireless telecommunications—and a $400 million research effort announced by the White House. The next-generation technology will eventually be defined in a standard that will be known as “5G.” It is expected to provide Internet connections at least 40 times faster—and with at least four times more coverage worldwide—than the current standard, known as 4G LTE. This Intel chip, called a "massive antenna array," includes 64 antennas and can be expanded to 256, allowing ultra-high-capacity millimeter-wave frequencies to be sent in specific directions. The new technology is expected to use so-called “millimeter wave” radio spectrum, or wavelengths above 24 gigahertz. The FCC’s move in mid-July made the United States the first country to make far more of this spectrum available for commercial use, as opposed to primarily for radar and military systems. Higher-frequencies carry significantly more data. But they are also far more easily blocked by buildings, foliage, and even rain, making their use for mobile communications quite challenging (some existing systems use these frequencies for fixed point-to-point wireless connections with clear lines of sight). But thanks to advances in signal processing, chips, and antenna technologies, Samsung, AT&T, Verizon, Ericsson, and other companies will be able to use this spectrum for next-generation mobile connectivity. Already, some startups are using these tricks to pursue new business models. One is Starry, a company beta testing a home Internet access service in Boston. But such efforts are intended for stationary devices. The NYU and other demos are showing how millimeter wave signals can be used for mobile communications and get around the biggest problem: they’re blocked by objects that come between transmitter and receiver. Arrays of tiny antennas on chips or on miniature circuit boards can “steer” a signal in specific directions and mitigate this downside. This is known as “phased array”; Samsung, for example, has already prototyped a 32-antenna phased array in handheld wireless devices. Samsung, Ericsson, and Nokia all have equipment they are preparing for trials. “There’s a tremendous amount of work being done at all the major telecom companies, big and small. You see a lot of good activity happening throughout the industry, realizing that the millimeter wave future is coming very, very quickly,” says Ted Rappaport, who heads wireless research at NYU. The first commercially available handsets with such technology could appear in two to five years. “I call this the renaissance of wireless. There is a confluence of events that will change the world much faster than anybody believed a few years ago,” Rappaport says. Underpinning the new wireless technologies are remarkable advances in microchips. First, the smaller feature size on chips will allow much more data processing without killing off your battery. And second, such chips are being overlaid with a second layer of materials that act as antennas, minimizing signal loss and energy consumption. Manufacturing advances are making these advanced capabilities possible on standard silicon, paving the way for cheap consumer devices, says Ken Stewart, chief wireless technologist at Intel. “What the consumer will see are ever richer experiences and high-resolution video on mobile devices,” he says. “Instead of playing Pokémon Go while watching phone screens, they’ll be doing it in fully immersive, 3-D environments with fast refresh rates.” The groundswell of activity comes amid exponential growth in wireless data demands as billions of people expect more capacity in their mobile devices. Additional demand will come from machines like networked cars and smart power grids.

Now as for what type of features the iPhone 7 will bring to the table, it's believed that Apple is saving its most jaw-dropping new features for the iPhone 7s (which may be called the iPhone 8). That notwithstanding, the iPhone 7 might very well be more interesting than many people are giving it credit for, in large part due to what may be a huge leap forward in camera technology.

How to Download and Play Pokemon Go

download and install pokemon go in iphone and android phone
In short, Pokemon Go is a game based on augmented reality in which one should look around his surroundings to play it effectively.
Owing to the fact that the game hasn’t been released all over the world, you need to follow some tricks to download the same.
I have divided this article into two parts; for Android and iOS. In case you are from UK, US, Australia or New Zealand, you can download the game from the official app store.
So now, you are going to read how to download and play Pokemon Go on Android. I suppose you are from an unsupported country with a great desire to play the game.
ence, I am not testing your patience. Here you go!
Step 1: First, you have to change an option in the Settings panel. So, pick up your phone and open Settings from the app list or notification area.
Step 2: Then, you can see an option named Security. Don’t hesitate to tap on that one.
Step 3: At this step, you will be provided with a bunch of more options. Scroll down to see the one ‘Unknown Sources’. A checkbox is given right to the label. Make sure it is turned on. If it’s not, you should do it to install apps from third-parties.

Step 4: Now, you must download the APK file of the game. You can find a lot of download links by a Google search. But due to the fact that a lot of fake Pokemon Games are being released, you can use the following tested link.
Step 5: In case you are using PC, don’t forget to transfer the file from computer to your Android device. You can reduce this step if you download the file directly from mobile.

Step 6: Go to Downloads folder on your Phone (or the folder you downloaded/ transferred the file) and open the file you just downloaded.
There you go! It may take a while to complete the installation.
So now you know how to download Pokemon Go on Android. I will give you the game play instructions at the end of this article.

How to Download Pokemon Go on iOS

Sadly, you can’t download and play Pokemon Go on iOS with the help of an APK file. That means, the above step is senseless when it comes to iDevices.
Follow the steps down below to know how to download and play Pokemon on iOS.
Step 1: As an iDevice owner, you have an Apple ID. As long as your device is signed into the account with that particular ID, Apple knows where you are from. And, it will not show you the app in the Store if you are from an unsupported country.
So first, you have to logout of your Apple ID. Open Settings and, search for Apple ID.
Step 2: Tapping on Apple ID will give you an option Sign Out.
Don’t forget to follow both the steps given below. Or else, you will be failed to download and play Pokemon Go online.
Step 3: It’s time to change your region now. Go back to the main Settings screen for that. You can see an option called General. After choosing the same, access Language & Region.
There you go! You can see different regions. Change yours to US, New Zealand or Australia.
Step 4: Open app store and search for Pokemon Go. You must see the official game popping up. As I said earlier, many faking games are being launched even in the Apple’s Store. So make sure you choose the official one.
play pokemon go on iOS
N.B. – in case you won’t see the game, you should create a new Apple ID. Don’t worry! It’s not a Herculean process. Just select any app there and go with Create new Apple ID. You need to give a US or Australian address (a simple Google search will serve the purpose or use fakenamegenerator.com). Choose None in the billing section as well.
Step 5: Now, download Pokemon GO on iOS and enjoy your time. Now, you can sign out that account which you have created to download this game and can sign in old account and keep playing Pokemon Go game.

How to Play Pokemon Go; Some Tips and Instructions

  • You need an active internet connection to play the game. Owing to the fact that it needs us to walk around, Wi-Fi is not an ideal choice here.
  • In case you are from a region with no 3G or 4G, gameplay will be impossible (it’s difficult to play on 2G).
  • The game needs you to look at the screen all the time. But you should be aware of the premises as well. Or else, it will cause some physical damages.
  • You may find it difficult to catch Pokemons. So whenever you see one, just turn off the AR and see the creature moves to the center of the screen. Then, it will be easy for you to catch.
